Why play squash/racketball?
Squash & racketball (squash 57) are fantastic, fun ways to develop confidence, fitness & co-ordination:
• Heated courts - a genuine all year, all weather sport
• Get in shape - playing squash burns 615 kcal/hour compared to 445 kcal/hour in the gym (rowing)
• Improve reflexes/agility - maximum recorded ball speeds: Squash 175mph, Tennis 155mph
• Lifelong sport, keeps you fit - we have male/female members aged from 5 years to 80 years
• Convenient - workout any time
• Minority sport in the UK - easier to obtain county, regional and even national rankings
• Majority sport in university, business and globally
• Annual membership fees only £15 (under 11 yrs), £30 (under 18 yrs), £194 (Adults)
• Direct Debit facility available to pay membership fees annually or quarterly
60 minute courts daytime (upto 4.10pm), 50 minute courts evenings (after 4.10pm)
Traditional brick/plaster walled courts (surprisingly some clubs install inferior wooden front walls)

Why join Kings Heath?
Courts
50-60 minutes

Adults £1.50
Juniors £0.50
Racketball was recently rebranded Squash 57 by England Squash
This renaming was because racketball more closely resembles squash, than the racquetball played in USA
In American racqetball the court is long, thin, there is no tin & the ceiling is a legal playing surface
Squash 57 is played on a conventional squash court with a squash 57 ball - either black or blue (bouncier)
